  • do i need an oil catch can for how i drive

I want to keep my car near stock, now I have a real nice Greddy catch can here. I don't drive my car hard at all just a few liberal pulls and rarely hit 7k. Do i need a catch can? Don't intend to track or race.

Nope, not for street. The only reason why you'd need one is if you have bad rings or too much boost and you start pressurizing your oil sump.

Basically, if it wasn't in the car from the factory, your car doesn't need it.

If constant rpm, high boost (motorway or racetrack) it's needed.
