really like what you did with the shifter. May look into something like that, it looks crazy slick. Can you share your design for that or was it just rigged up?

haha, i guess this is turning into a "show you setup" thread. Which is totally cool. carry on
Sorry about that, I didn't mean it to sound brash, I just wanted to point out that for interiors sometimes "less is more" (even if not by choice).

The details can be found in my build thread, but for a lack of better words its a short throw paired with a shifter shaft I got custom machined for a ball knob. Not happy with it I turned around and instead hammered an old CF nismo knob on. Its quite permanent.

Also, ditto on Hozer's quite nice setup. Something to strive for.

Thought we were posting cleanest setups period, not our own haha so for clarity sake that setup is not mine! Although I did copy it so mine does look identical now (less the controllers and boxes) so thanks . I'll get some pictures up in the spring!

This was my interior about 3 years ago. Been replaced with the stack gauge and a-frame has been stripped of gauges as well. The center console is very similar to the first pic I posted, but my knobs and switches are above the screen. (Torque split, boost/tune and NOS). Also had the full interior re-done. Have no pictures because its been in the shop ever since.

^^ Is your screen for entertainment or does it display engine data? I've kinda wanted a screen that plugs into datalogit and displays custom gauges etc to keep the clutter down.

Also found another pic of Jordie's car. Still like the retro utilitarian feel to it. Like something out of the cold war

For entertainment, but it could be used the way you've described. It has a bunch of inputs on it, so you could certainly rig something up.

Not too sure about it being cold war haha. The intention of my build is to make it as period correct as possible. Flashy LED gauges and double DIN stereos just arnt for me. It took me about a year to hunt down and source all the HKS gauges with new sensors. I am now trying to source a pair of seats. I had a tommykaira and nismo fixed bucket seat slip away from me so I am still looking. Ill probably settle on some recaros

                      glad you like it though.

^ That's actually the kind of interior I'd aim for if I'd have the money. No joking, my primary inspiration for the far-future race build is the F1 GTR and the F40LM.
