So I found the problem with my tach and i guess it's the board in the cluster. I ran out and picked up a dohc 240sx cluster now my tach moves freely idles at 800 great but as soon as I start to rev due to the difference in my 11k tach and the 240s 8k tach when the tach reads 3000 it's actually more like 5500(bought a cheap Canadian tire tach and wired it in for diagnostic purposes) essentially my question is how do I accurately calibrate this or where can I have it done(would prefer it done professionally).
The reason I chose 240 cluster is it was 30$ and has the same part number as our tachs, I could have tried sourcing an 11k rpm board but I think they are only on nismo and mines clusters.
