  • Darton Sleeves, good for RB26?

How do theses sleeves hold up in the RB26?
I've heard some mixed reviews and I'm looking to sleeve the cylinders in an N1 block soon
Just give it a couple hundred kilometers. It'll shoot you right in the wallet.

A sleeved block is good enough for 7 sec runs in a drag GTR.

As far as I know, HKS have a special order block (using I believe is a N1 block) with spacer plate (also extra head studs between cylinders to keep the head from lifting) with sleeves, custom internals. Same spec shortblock they use on their 7 sec R33 Drag GTR and on some other GTR dragcars.

Kakimoto has a similar RB30 kit (high block) with using I believe is a N1 block, sleeves, spacer plate, custom internals (crank, conrods, etc) to suit -

What in the world would cause a guy to need sleeves on an N1. More stuff to go wrong. Unless it's a worthy risk cause you have 1 200 whp.
      No build thread.
