I really wish people would quit buying shitpile cars from that shady ass business, yeah it's a "deal" at $8k until you spend $8k in repairs on it. Maybe it won't happen to you, but it has happened to other people and it will keep happening until they go out of business.

i do agree that there a terrible place but lets put it this way if i pay another 8 grand then i will have a mint gtr for 16 grand? seems decent too me? and ya i would not recomend buying a skyline from tiger EVER they are the worst place i have ever bought anything from.....

i went there numerous times but didn't find anything to my liking. and like many others, i've heard numerous horror stories about buying cars from them. hopefully you can prove them wrong.

personally, i don't want any fix-er-uppers anymore. its too much work and my body can't take it anymore. i'm still looking but finding a 4.0-B gtr for a GOOD price is hard.

Being an importer myself, it really brings down the buisness, gives a bad rap on the cars, as well as de values them..i get a lot of calls saying..can i get a gtr for 9k..i say yes...but It will be very low quality...which ends in them buying some crap car from alberta or BC (no offence..) then me having to try to get parts for them because there whole suspension assembly is gone. /sigh no one listens to me.

i have the same philosophy in terms of spending the money up front and buying one in great shape. that is what i've been planning to do all along.

but for some (and me when i was younger), most of the fun is rebuilding it yourself. to each their own.

Sorry, but this is so true. I'm from the Toronto area, and these guys have a bad reputation that goes back many years....

even with the auction sheets, odometers gets rolled back and swapped all the time in jp. 77,000kms and a **** interior? most interiors crap out over 160,000km of regular driving. but if its really Shieety, over 200kms is my guess.

please do the timing belt job and water pump. no matter what they said has been done.

First thing that i'd do if i were you is get a new Tomei or Jun oil pump, fix the GTR achilles heel before it becomes a problem.

BTW, ya i live in london and they were 'BSing' about a GTS-T they said it was a GTR. I sent them two messages about it and they didn't send a reply.

It had the GTR hood (no grill) that didnt close right, RB20DET engine and no badges. I think it was GTS-T front bumper too because the air ducts didn't look angled like GTR. They wanted $9700 and yeah they had 4 skyline in bad condition that they wanted too much for imo.

illegal or not, that act is just morally wrong. i won't do business with such people. that said, its still fun going there to look at jdm cars. i just hope those that already bought gtr's from tiger (like the guy that started this thread) don't end up getting screwed too badly.

i perfer making weather controling devices and giving ultimatums demanding 100 billion dollars in 2 hours.

hey guys! so i have been driving this car for around 2 months now and other then small things that seem normal to most GTR ppl the car has been GREAT!

as for the Odom being rolled back its possible but the motor has been looked over a handfull of times and it seems to be pretty legit...

the interior is in **** shape because it was most likly sitting in the sun for a long as time...

the steering wheel and break pedals are usually a good indication of the legit milage... and they are both in amazing shape.

i have had minor things like 4wd leaks and stuff but its all been fixed,....

the car has been taken care of by the guys over at PUR AUTO and they seem to think the car was a good deal!

overall i still highly disagree with anyone buying a car there but it seems so far like a got a damn good deal!

yes, I think it looks pretty in the picture.. the idea about the stolen imports interesting though. It'd be nice if he removed the ugly aftermarket hood and put on oem and makes a sleeper.

its funny you say that about the hood cause i thought the same thing.... but as it turns out this hood is pretty sweet! if i paint it the same color as the car and get rid of the rusty hood pins it should look alright....

but i deffinatly agry with it being ugly lol

yeah I see alot of 350z around town with those aerocatch hoodpins and it doesnt blend in with the hood like people keep claiming on NICO club. I like chrome pins but apparently they arent efficient? and only look good on old muscle cars.
