Yup! used, but practically brand new from the looks of it, all the fins are mint, no shaft play at all, they were such an unbelieveable deal, i couldnt pass them up

power-wise, they should be on the same level as 2530's/2860-5's except it uses a 360 degre floating bearing like NismoS-tune said, they also have a 15 degree cut back on the turbine wheel which is pretty neat, wonder why turbos now days dont use cutback wheels...

these turbos are pretty much perfect for my current motor, ill be going to a pair of 2860-5's when i build the new forged motor this summer.

...now i just gotta get off my ass and finish porting out those manifolds so i can put these bitches on

        another small update!

the final parts are starting to get ordered, and this bitch should be running and tuned by May.

i've decided to paint my valve covers and intake plenum wrinkle red, been one of my favorite colours on engines ever since.. ever.

so i did my friend's SR valve cover first as a guinea pig, turned out real nice! ..cant really tell in the pics though, stupid shitty iphone.. it looks orange in the pics, but its red.

        Stripping the valve cover:

Looks good! But it might be a bit difficult to crew the oil filler cap back in!

haha, Jason, i think your manifold single handedly epic wins over my entire build... lol.

heres a couple more though, should be done polishing the HKS ic pipes today, but im still waiting for the PTD -12AN valve cover breather fittings before i can assemble everything.. heres how it sits at the moment.

i had the valve covers/ intake manifold powder coated because i couldnt fit them inside my oven and so i couldnt use the wrinkle paint like i did on my friends SR valve cover..

it turned out alright, wasnt exactly what i was hoping for, i wanted a flat, deep red with a grainy wrinkle like the ITR/Ferrari/Nismo valve covers.. this is a much brighter and slightly glossy red, but whatever. thats what happens when you get other people to do the work for you....... |:

HKS2530's on ported stock manifolds, Trust turbo extension pipes (down pipe/ dump pipes built into one, smoothest flow possible, with really long divided wastegate tubes), 3" resonated test pipe, to 90mm ARC Ti catback.

thats all you get for now.

...cuz thats all i got for now. lol
