Frank, I looked at that the day it was posted however there's a few reasons I am holding back right now.

-I have an HKS bumper so it may not fit well if at all, I could sell the HKS bumper and get stocker...
-I picked up an air diffuser kit (knockoff) from Horsemen's group buy last year but it's no where as nice, I haven't been able to sell it.
-The price is also a turn off. I normally like quality items but over $1000 from a tiny lip and diffuser? I'd rather spend that cash toward a titanium exhaust or something..... If we were able to get it all shipped to 1 person, then I would most likely get it.

    UPDATE!!

Having the car ready for the road has been put on hold till next year. My engine was shipped in February in hopes to have it back by June at the latest but things have changed, out of my control. There are also numerous parts I haven't recieved from GTRC suppliers yet, some that go as far back as December 2009. It's a funny thing when a project hits delays and holds for other reasons than finances. I'll keep you guys posted throughout the winter and spring. Another year of part purchases to come!!

    Dan,

My wife will be talking to the previous insurance company however they may ask questions. Hopefully they do accept the "back pedal" work however we're insuring the vehicles, house and some other goodies. It's a bit of work to move the whole lot however by just moving the car back, we lose most of the discounts and most likely spend $100 more a month on the insurance lol. So much for trying to save a few bucks. I knew it was a bad idea when she mentioned it. Good thing I love her more than the car

I'll keep updating as per usual. Maybe it'll still make it to the road. I just find it tough to break in a car properly, when you also have to inspect it right away...

    Merde!

Sorry to hear it. Have you tried having a heart to heart with your old insurance provider?

I've just recieved great news an hour ago. My wife decided to change insurance companies to save $35/month (what's that worth? a few lunches a month?) 3 weeks ago and I asked her to ensure they would insure my car with full coverage. No problem, all good. 3 weeks later, they call saying I need to get the car inspected because it's old. Hello, there's no engine in it. Now my insurance on it has lapsed and there's nothing I can do about it with my engine's getting rebuild since February. #$^&@%^&@# If I do somehow magically get this running before august, I have to get some sort of temporary permit to get it inspected when I'm trying to break it in... All for 3 packs of smokes a month. That's what I get for someone trying to safe a few $ where everything was AOK.

    Anyone need a parts car?

just ordered an aluminum mount for the B14115 battery

    thx franc !
11 pounds! eek, that was getting too small for me. The 17 is less than 1/2 the weight and I can still run a stereo and electric fans. They suggested no smaller tha 15 for what I wanted. You're gutsy with the 11 lol. Braille ftw!

Francois, J'ai acheté la brackette directement de Braille et elle est très légerte, bien fabriqué. La batterie, la brackette, le chargeur et le postage est venue a $500 ou quelque chose comme ça. La batterie pèse 17 livres.

    Hey bro!

I thought of that but the hole is centered with what's left of the bracket so what would be left is a fork if you know what I mean. I'm thinking of going with L brackets on the side (2 per side) and mount it that way so it's sturdier, unlike 2 simple bolts on top only. I'll see what I decide tonight... On another note, I need to find the OEM electric fan relay so I can use that for control

So more info on the koyo rad and mishimoto fans.

The fans don't fit right again but this time I measured the koyo rad which turns out it's the issue. I had not planned on going koyo but it was suggested to me as a great product for a good price however it has fitment issues. The 2 mounts are off from eachother by 3/16s or so, to cause problems and the rad is physically taller now by over 1/4 inch. Have they changed designs or have moved to a mexican builder? Since the seller doesn't exist anymore, I'll have to remove the mishimoto name plate, do some drilling and patching (1/4 inch gap across the bottom) to install it without looking like knockoff puke. Anyone else have any issues with koyo as of late?

    Mount 1

    Mount 2

Fitment still off/round/short on the bolt.
