Or the engine removal, it can pretty much stay on one piece underneath.

Unlike c unit said, keep the front driveshaft and starter all in. Trust me after puttin in all the bs on the top, your not gonna wanna touch the underneath. If you need and tips, I can help with most stuff. Pm me for any detailed info you want on the engine removal or install.

        Time for the update.
Started the day by driving my toyota pick up to get to the shop. Really low kms

Hood off. Time to drop that tranny.
Labelled all my bolts and pieces to make sure it all goes back togeather easily.

My buddy gave me a hand, the shop is All Pro Auto on dunwin dr in mississauga, if anyone needs work done on every day cars they do great work, and if you can bring parts they can work on JDM cars, they worked on a couple members cars. 905-607-8669 if you need work done they also do alignments and have JDM car specs in there alignment machines!.

Tranny getting ready to come out.

Tranny out, god dam it weighs a **** ton. Also found out my car had been care for really well, all fluids were really new, the rear subframe had be re done with new bushings.

        Tranny gone ready to go.

If you know , you will lol

        And its out! WOOT!

On the stand, I pulled off the air conditioning, so if anyone needs a/c parts lmk, when we pulled it it was low on freeon and did not cool so it may just need to be recharged but i dont use a/c so I dont have a need, so Pm me for pricing, have compressor, lines, condensor and a.c rad all in good shape, with signs of being serviced in the past!

Some artsy photo's which is onw my back ground!

And Now I am waiting on somone to get me my parts cough cough. but well see how long that takes.

              Removing the A/C equipment.

Some random photos from washing the shell.

I will post pictures tomorrow as I am re putting the engine back in but to up date everyone. Basically my build went along nicely besides receiving incorrect parts, having a less then appealing powder coating job done by a shop. Well couple things I did were
Head port new valve seals, valve guides, and deck and cleaning, cleaned the engine top to bottom all old gaskets, seals and such were removed properly and cleaned, all new gaskets fitted. Went with a cometic metal head gasket and ARP studs from the advice of Manny at FTP. Picked up a new coil pack harness. A blitz sbc boost controller, and a ton of other work was done. car will be clean and decently fast with good accelleration thanks to the head, big update tomorrow cant wait to fire it back up

I made a big post on a couple other boards so copy and paste my final write up.

Okay folks since my last thread has been deleted. This is what we have as of today.
                          What was done.
Over winter, pulled motor out and worked the top end. and added/did the following

Remove head, deck, port, polish, valve guides, and valve seals.
Cometic OEM multi layer metal head gasket
                          ARP head studs
                          Replace leaking rear turbo
                          Mines titanium dumps
                          Apexi exhaust
                          Apexi intatkes
                          Blitz SBC sequential boost controller
Spec stage 3 clutch 6 puck sprung(love this clutch highly recommended)
New OEM GTR rotors Hawk HPS brake pads
                          All gaskets are new
All hoses both coolant and vacuum are new and made from silicone
                          New Oil pressure sending unit
                          New Water pump
New N1 oil pump with kryo treated gears to resist failure
                          New Greddy timing belt
                          New idlers+ tensioner
                          New belts
Remove a/c lines, compressor, condenser and rad.

Car was a labor of love. Skylines are more prominent in Canada, but the problem is very few of them run and drive correctly. So instead of compensating for leaking gaskets and hoses by increasing the boost. I decided that I want it to run perfectly before I attempt to increase performance and that has been accomplished. All work was done by me. With the guidance of a friend of mine by the name of Manny and Bobby at FTP in Mississauga(great shop pm for contact info great custom products). The reason I could afford to do it was I did the work if I had to pay a shop to do it I would be broke long ago many, all nights, many late nights and early mornings went into this car and I feel I accomplished something since one of the things I wanted to do before I died was take apart a motor and put it back together and have it run. Objective complete enjoy.

P.S the little hamster looking guy apparently is called hamtaro from a Japanese tv/comic series it was in the when it arrived kinda neat.

                          Thanks for looking!
