you're a rediculously wrong person....

i work with the provincial police about once a week often more, ... you know how often they catch people like that? in QC they don't ever chase law breakers or speeders... ever, its policy on the island of montreal. they feel theres just too much potential for innocent ppl to get hurt (unless its like a murderd etc)...instead they wait, and investigate, they get the license plate number... they go to the persons house like 2 days later (never day after), and they "talk"... and what are you gonna say? "no it was someone else in my car.. but i don't know who was driving it?"... ha

this is Quebec... not Alberta, no offence man but its a whole different ball game out here when it comes to law and police, and yes my job is police related. you think he would've taken it down just cause i told him to? ... NO!... he knows full well that $h1t goes down here...

its even worse on montrealracing.com they actually have cops as admins!


lemme elaborate on the issue.

its against the law to:

1) travel faster then the posted limit on a public road way.
2) video tape yourself doing illegal things
3) street race - (what he was doing is classified as street racing)
4) a whole host of other BS charges like (loud exhaust, dangerous driving, wreckless endargement etc..)


and the second part is they have to be able to prove things in order to make all that stick...

the video showed:
a) him and his face driving the car
b) his location (because of the road signs) - we know he was on highway 40 travelling west bound at avenue des sources
c) his license plate
d) the guy filming Vocalizes the speed and says "man he musta been going waay faster then us! and we're going 120!" (or something along those lines, i forget now his exact words)

and whats worse! is they know 100% they have witnesses to tesitfy... his buddies!!!... and if his friends refuse to testify, or they lie in court, they get charged with "obstruction of justice" or "purgery" for lieing.

My dad has been a policeman for 30 years. I'm not just talking nonsense. If the police try to get you in trouble something they've seen in a video, ha, there's about 100 things you can use to put doubt in the judges' mind. So what if he says they were doing 120? Coulda been bullshitting. So what of they got his far on camera? There's no one that looks like him in the world? No other black skyline has travelled on that road? Joe blow could change a digit on the license plate in that video. Have you seen movies like avatar? Anything is possible. And it's dark in the video, things aren't perfectly clear anyway. I have lots of videos of me screwing around on YouTube, i'll never get in trouble for it

I'm just saying, it would be hard for the police to actually convict you of any crime, from a driviNg video. (in most cases). Take it from any angle you like, just my opinion on it
