I can't understand how turbos which are twice as large as stock will spool as quick. -5s are much slower that oem and these things are 100hp bigger. That's like saying -10s would spool as quick as oem lol.

Nice work though, why didn't you go with something that required little to no modding like -10s?

        I'm from windsor, ontario.

Nowhere did I say they'd spool as fast as stock? Just nearly as fast.

My engine flows significantly more airflow than the stock engine does, porting helps with spool, these are dual ball bearing instead of 80's journal bearing tech, etc.

60mm -10's don't make anywhere near the power when compared to 71mm -15's.

Ballbearings create more friction than journal bearings, hindering spool rates slightly - maybe only 200 rpm max in some applications. But most turbo builders will opt for 360 degree thrust bearings or journal bearings as a way to decrease spool.
These will flow well with all the porting and the gasket matched/ported housing. I think that's like 1 point in CFMs which is like 40-50 CFM increase alone, not including head work

Sorry if it was taken negative. 9 s in a GTR is a very tall order. You can take it any way you want dont care. I was serious that this will be good to watch. I have watched lots of threads start with a 9 goal thats cool. For some reason it takes more then people think in a GTR. lots of dedication. Ive had my hands in several cars that range from 8-10 sec and for some reason the GTRs are the hardest to get there.
