  • Canada first R334 GTR...i think

Hi everyone. Some of you might know me on building the VQ35HR TT R32 GTR. My name is Charles for those who doesn't know me.

I am not the best at making build threads..*cough* frankiman...*cough* I decided to make a little thread just to show my other project which I am working on right now.

I bought the Car as a shell with no front end so I am thinking, Why not do a R34 conversion. So I started collecting all the parts 6 months ago. Since I already have most of the drivetrain parts sitting around, I am just going to focus on the conversion.

I am not going to post up the technical details yet since I still don't know which engine I am going to put in.

    Here are the exterior parts:

Thanks Mark (sorry I forgot your user name..)
    R34 GTT Radiator support
    R34 GTT A/C condenser
    R34 Bumper support
    R34 Headlight bracket
    R34 Bumper signal

    Parts By me
    R34 Bi Xenon headlights
    R34 Nismo style bumper
R34 Auto select CF front lip
    R34 Nismo style CF hood
    R34 OEM style FRP fenders
    R33 Do luck side skirts
    R33 CF trunk
    R33 TS rear diffuser
R33 Bee R style CF spoiler
    R33 CF exhaust sheild

    No BS...picture time.

It needs some work to fit...lol

    All the body parts:

Bi Xenon headlights from Yahoo auction.

R34 rad support tack in place.

    More coming tmr!!

Very nice. My xenon headlights looked great on yahoo auction but have weird small cracks when lit up.

I like your hood, wish I could get an R324 hood in carbon. FRP weighs a ton!

same here...i wont say my headlights are in bad condition. It's still super mint but it has minor scratches inside the lens....

The hood is just a R34 hood. Not specifically made for the conversion. For some reason the hood is sitting to close to the wiper....lol

Charles I had the same problem with it sitting back to far. Just need to fiddle around with it a bit more. Loving the build already. What wheels you going to run?

Can you do me a huge favor? Next time you are in your shop, measure the width of the hood at the front and back. I would love to know if it would remotly fit on my R324.

            Thanks!

Willis that good will fit your conversion. You would need a different hood latch assembly and different hood hinges. That's it though.

Charles can you get good pricing on those advans? Wouldn't mind running a set on my car this year
