Bought built - Then rebuilt!

Here's a teaser of my soon to be posted winter build of my car.

I bought this car from a good guy on here that was located in Quebec.

Flew there, test drove and shipped her home only to receive a car that some shipper must have had a great time in...
I'll get more into detail for the actual build thread, but for now here's a couple teaser pics!

Also I don't mean to be rude or anything but why buy a car for so much money when your going to rebuild? When asking this I take it wasn't in the game plan? Either way it's a nice car that josh had done a great job with! Nice car man

I would assume the "only to receive a car that some shipper must have had a great time in..." might have something to do with the rebuild and the reason for buying an expensive car and rebuilding it...

Exactly... this car should have been turn key go, but instead it turned out to be a turn key headache. I paid a reasonable price for what it should have been, unfortunately I didn't think to unplug a coil or two before leaving it in the hands of the shippers. First thing I was told when picking the car up in BC is "we don't cover mechanical damage claims only body" and I'm sure you can put the rest together from there.

Yeah these are the e46 projectors I got from you! They look good, I haven't put power to them yet to see how they really work.

Yeah your right! And it was a toss up between shipping and driving but I only had a few days I could take off work and the cost of shipping was about 1500 which is comparable to the cost of driving it with all the inter province permits. Wish I would have driven it myself.

Any suggestions. My car addiction isn't going anywhere but my money never seems to stick around lol. Other wise I would do a complete rebuild like mr. Fancy pants lol
