Sold (back) to me!

Today I sold my car. It's gone to a good home, and it's rightful owner.

Modded my center console to fit gauges, double din DVD and HVAC controls. I never use my ashtray so out it goes.


Have a couple touch ups to do, but overall worked perfect.

Came out pretty good. When I do my timing belt and poncams I'll paint the timing and cam covers to match.

Drilled the holes to help vent some of the heat around the coil packs. Heat tends to shorten their life so I figured it couldn't hurt.

Decided to scrap the HKS BOVs, they work great but kinda hard on the car in stop and go traffic. I think these are more suited for track use.

Next up, my birthday gift from my loving wife, a GoPro Hero 3.

Tried to install my BOVs and low and behold they don't fit. Looks like I'm gonna have to make a custom wheel well liner, get out the sawzalll, or sell them. Bought them under the premise they were for an R32 but there is no way this thing is gonna fit. This is gonna be fun. FML!!
