  • Brians GTR **Mild Build Thread**

Hey folks. Thought id start my own build guide seeing as ive been doing lots of research over the past few months and have been working on getting prices and opinions.

The car is basically stock with a few modifications:

    Interior:
    -4 Point Roll cage
    -Harness's
    -Momo Italy Steering Wheel
    -Nismo 280km/h Cluster
    -Nismo Shifter
    - New shift boot and E-brake Boot.
    -Aftermarket Head Unit
... Rest of the interior is stock (GTR Seats, Floormats etc.)

    Exterior / Performance:
    -Kakimoto Racing N1 3.5 exhaust
    -DBA Rotors
    -EBC Yellowstuff pads
    -Apexi Dual Cone Intakes
    -Nismo Low temp Thermostat
    -Razo Turbo Timer
-Boost Controller with 2 Presets (7lbs and 14lbs boost)

Im sure theres more that im forgetting about... But ill update it as I go.

I have a build plan in mind that im going to start as soon as I come back from my Vacation in mid may 2012.
Im currently keeping in touch with Radek @RSTuning who specializes in cars like my skyline. We have a few ideas of what we are going to do but still nothing set in stone. I can certainly say my goal is 500awhp though and i wont stop until i achieve it.

Follow along with this thread to see where I go with my build. Ill keep everyone updated as often as I can!

Pictures: ***Uploading as I get them***

Quick photo Compilation on youtube for the mods ive done so far: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dyl1UP0fogk

Cant wait to be back home in Ontario to get some serious work done!

      Kakimoto Regu 06&R 3.5" Exhaust.

Installed the exhaust tonight. Sounds awesome with the Testpipe!

Your living in bc? come to the revscene meet and see the westerners!

Nice car, I liked the color matched stock air box, but the Apexi intake is a good choice

Yeah I will definitely have to come by. I really wish I was out here in my GTR however hah. And thanks, I agree the color matched airbox was nice.. I held onto it just in case, But I love the Apexi intakes too much. Being able to hear them suck air in and spool the turbos is always a nice bonus!
