I was told by car reupholster (they recover dashes) to not use silicon? based cleaners (what breaks down the glue and makes dash bubble). Just wipe it with damp / wet cloth (to be safe) to remove dust, etc.

i'm not a fan of coating the dashboard with sprays, the shiny look is just 1980. lol.

How did you chrome the outer bolts? I'm getting my rims redone atm and don't know what to do with the bolts.

i gave them to a chroming specialist with the request of only chroming the head of the bolt and not the thread. i was told the technique they would use is by wrapping them all on a metal wire to just dip the section i wanted. they charged $3aud per bolt. i'm not sure how much other shops would charge because i found it hard enough to find a shop willing to take the time to do it.

                  Like the 1980 part.

I would rather flock the dash than make it more shiny, as seeing dash in windscreen on sunny day is distracting.

Thanx, that would be a good customer of Powertune. he is not a representative nor does he work for the company. sometimes he voices his opinions very boldly in ways that sounds offending but means well.
