Jealous that you get to have your car prepped and tuned by Top Secret themselves.

I will definitely get pictures of "some" of Top Secret's shop and of smokey for you guys. Maybe I'll take them while he tunes my car. I have to drop my car off there on sunday so they can add a three core radiator and tune the car sometime next week. In the meantime here's some pictures of every installed and the car running under it own power!

My MAFs are from the R35 GTR, as are the fuel injectors custom fitted to the fuel rail and intake manifold

                Hey guys,

Been a while since I've given an update as I was in Thailand for the past month. Picked up my car from TS last Friday and wow i can not be happier with the results. the response of the new motor setup is amazing. Quick turbo spool, and response throughout the entire powerband. no lag here! She's putting down a very healthy 538 to all four wheels and 465 ft/lbs of torque. I couldn't get any pics of smokey because he was pretty busy tuning their gold R35 shop car. Maybe the next I head over there though. Here's some pics, enjoy

For sure man. the Nismo factory is pretty much heaven. they have an amazing rotation of cars in there. Last month they had a R33 400r, and have a Z-tune on permanent display. keep your credit card at home hahaha

Thank you. I'm already planning the next phase. Thinking about adding another fuel line, bumping up in injector size and either going to a twin fuel pump or one large 400lph pump setup. But, before any of that happens I need to change out my rotors and pads for my race at Fuji speedway next month.

So a few weeks ago I was pretty bored at work and I decided to do some research into new headlamps for the car. Now, my car (being an '89) did not come with the projector headlights. After doing some searching on yahoo auctions japan I came across a set that was in very good condition so I snatched them up. Upon doing some more research into the projectors I learned that they were pretty shitty when it came to the focus point of the beam and it really didnt do much good over the non-projector. Well, as it turns out there is a solution to this issue; retrofitting newer, more efficient projectors. Anyway... I had some free time over the weekend and swapped them out. Here's how it looks:

                              [IMG][/IMG]

So this is the comparsion between the old and the new. New one on the left and old one on the right.

                              [IMG][/IMG]

Instead of fabbing up a custom bracket to make for the new projector I decided to just cut the old bracket and modify it a little bit to accept the new one.

                              [IMG][/IMG]

As you can see all I really had to do is make a few cutouts on the base of the bracket to make it fit.

                              [IMG][/IMG]

Fits like it came from the factory this way! I used aircraft grade epoxy sealant to ensure it doesnt fall apart due to the heat.

                              [IMG][/IMG]

Not a big fan of chrome so I decided to sand it off the headlamp housing.

                              [IMG][/IMG]

Painted flat black v.s. just sanded

                              [IMG][/IMG]

Both painted and corner lens reinstalled

                              [IMG][/IMG]

Finished product! I am really happy the way they came out. unfortunately the HID bulbs that i special ordered were broken when they arrived so I had to send them back. hopefully they return soon so I can install everything.

OH! and here is as promised a picture of smokey. Next to him is a good friend of mine. I have no idea where the picture with me and him went but the next time I'm over there I will just have to take another one.
