  • Project "Awesome Sauce"

Not the most original project name I know, but to be honest it's gonna be awesome.

So as the story goes I bought the car a few years back cause it's was always a dream car of mine. I was back living with my folks helping them out and I wanted a project car. So i did the research and started working with an import company out of Vancouver. Long story short, I had the car shipped over and it arrived in Edmonton in the dead of winter (not kidding the day we picked it up was -38) and put it on a trailer back to Grande Prairie that day.

By the time we got it home my dad had so lovingly named it 'Frosty'.

Fast forward, it's no longer known as Frosty and I live in Calgary now in my own place. The garage has been insulated and I've started working on the car now that I have money too. So it's been a long time coming.

Let's get down to brass tax, I have a bunch of ideas of what I want to do and what I want my end result to be. I'm anticipating this build will take a few years but I'm excited to get started.

I'm sure there are going to be many newbie questions coming from this build just because I don't know any better and really I want to learn and do as much of it as I can on my own. Most questions will probably be "What's this?" or "What does this do?"

I am totally open to ideas, the wilder the better. Like I said I've got a few crazy ideas of my own (like shaved doors, or custom wide body kit), but any new ideas would be amazing.

Without further ado, here she is.

This was her when I first got her (I don't drive her in the winter anymore)

And this is her as of today...

There may or may not be a dent in the back quarter panel now.

I understand them feels bra. I just finished the motor section of my build for now, and working on weight reduction currently. I'll be moving to Calgary this summer, hope to see you cruisin' some time! Always happy to help if you need a hand as well, as long as you return the favor lol
Just give it a couple hundred kilometers. It'll shoot you right in the wallet.
