i wanted to..no one wanted to buy them so i painted them red...looks hot..i believe

i am thinking about painting my hood white, leaving only the vents carbon, the dark matt grey wheels, remake the wing stands so its more stright,
i hope this isall happening ths month

i would paint all the carbon fiber white...it would give it the appearance of being stock (aka sleeper)

nice job on the tails. They look great in red. I was behind a new G35 today and the tails light up very simliar to yours.

Felix, nice car. Out of curiosity: what are you doing for the main caps? Are you keeping the RB30 2 bolt mains or are you running an AVO RB30 girdle and align honing the block?

I don't have the balls to build an RB30 yet. I was thinking about an HKS RB26 high deck kit though.

Brian makes good stuff for the money. Bang for the buck. Not perfection for the buck. There's many different ways to do a 2.9 or 2.8 for that matter. Some ways result in more or less piston side loading or perhaps less dwell time or on and on. The one thing you do not get is perfection for value. It's simply impossible.

BC makes excellent stuff for the money because they do not have to support an R&D program to develop the product. It's just a generically calculated stroker kit. There is no endurance testing, there's no test engines, nothing. You get a crank, rods, pistons, and probably even generically sized "standard" bearings.

Companies like HKS, Tomei, and Cosworth develop engine parts in engines on engine dynos after multiple trial and error sessions. These test engines and sessions cost money and that is what drives the cost of the components up. But I assure you - what you pay is what you get when it comes to engine components.

To simplify further, it's kind of like a JE piston versus and HKS piston. JE is a generic piston manufacturer that has probably 8 different skirt profiles they run on 500 different engines. How does that work you ask? Well not very well I assure you (or not for very long). HKS is a specialty piston manufacturer that has a specific skirt profile for a specific engine. Which one do you think will last longer, burn less oil, make more horsepower, have less leakdown, etc? You guessed it: HKS.

More on this stuff later, I gotta grab some dinner. I just thought I would explain why some engine components cost so little. I'm not saying BC's stuff is crap - what I'm saying is that it costs less for a reason.

Felix car is looking hella crazy. Your welcome for all of the parts in your build hehe, well not much. I'm concerned about the wheels. You need a man's wheel on that car. 17s? with like a 25 offset or something? Seriously bro that is 1998 styles.

I have 18x10s +18 and they still look wimpy, well next to guys like Eric and Steve Mitchell but 19 LMGT4s I was looking at didn't feel right for the car. So yeah fat 18s, your car wil demolish those shoes.

Oh well back to my project no so horny.

i am saving up for the PERFECT BBS LM...i still can't afford it...

The rear part of the sideskirts, the grill, the hood lip, and the front n1 ducts look like ass in CF. Paint em white cause it looks homo like it is.

Also, those wheels sort of "kill" the car imo. Buy something nicer, those things need less offset....

Id personally paint em "volk green" though. Damn that would be buttsecz.
