The GTR beast is awake after almost 1 year....updated Feb. 1

I gave the GTR a %20 drink of Toluene with 94 octane and HOLY SMOKES!All detonation was gone the car pulled hard to 1.12 bar and wanted more.I don't have the correct voltage set up on my Blitz scb-id3...it was only reading about %40 injector duty cylce....Exhaust temps never went above 600 Celcius...fuel pressure was nice and high and oil temp was 95 Celcius for the first time with the new long block and 5W30 oil.
Toluene was $16 for 4 ltr's.Not bad for real Octane boost.With a %20 mix I had about 98.4 octane.They also had Xylene for $20 /4ltr's.I bought the Toluene @ Home Depot.I don't plan on using this very often....maybe for auto x the odd time and the odd 1/4 mile in the summer.The Mines ECU definately liked it...that's for sure!

I jsut picked up a freshly painted surge tank in silver (for $60!!), so hopefully that will improve things

What still amazes me, is that even though you guys have the same car, they handle completely differently. I didn't think two of the same car could have such different feels.

Apexi Power Fc arrived today.It only took 4 days to get to my door!Waiting on 720 cc injectors.I want to get a datalogic dongle box but the 2-3 month wait is brutal.I think I will just buy a wide band O2 sensor and some sort of datalogging program.Does anyone have any recommendations for a O2 sensor with data logging capabilities.

I have emailed a few companies that say they have a Datalogit in stock,so I really hope they do because it would cut the road tuning time down by quite a bit.I have all the spread sheets for the datalogit to make changing the values very quick.The innovative lm-1 wide band has a nice data logging program for AFR's..that is my second option.It would be really good if I could have the knock trace map of the datalogit that shows which cell is knocking and pull timing from that cell.I think it will be a little time consuming with just the hand controller and the lm-1 program.

I just got my FCdatalogit from monkeywrenchracing.com, took about under 2 weeks to get to my door. It shipped from New Zeland I beleive...

I just did the the direct wire mod with 10ga wire and new relay for my Apexi fuel pump.Old voltage at the pump was 12.4 volts under load...new voltage is 13.4 volts.This should supply enough fuel for my 720cc injectors and 1.3 bar of boost.
Dataloggit box and software is now in the mail from the U.S.

Datalogit and 720cc injectors arrived.I hate UPS!I had to use them for the Datalogit....$45 brokerage fee's on a item declared as $100!...give me a break!
Now I just have to figure out why my NEW Blitz solenoid is not holding boost so I can install this and tune it.

UPS got me good the last few times. Glad to see you got the Datalogit in! I'm still having an issue getting a laptop to talk to mine though, let me know how you make out. And, do those 720cc'ers fit the stock rail, and what's the make??
