Going single turbo, have a hx40 super/pro and need to fab a down pipe / dump pipe. I have access to 3" and 4" ss tube and fittings. Is 3" big enough....I see guys using 3.5" but we don't stock that stuff. Car has a tomei expreme exhaust looking for 550-600whp.

Use whatever the Expreme size is. Or the next size smaller. Should be 1.5 times the turbine exducer at a minimum.

Ok thanks, yeah I see some companies using 4" but they have increasers/ reducers on either end to meet up with the std flanges. Not sure I see the point of that as the std 3" flange would be a restriction regardless. Anyway I'll try the 3", I can make a 3.5 or 4 if there's a issue with flowComment
