Anyone familiar with the tomei and/or nismo FPRs? I'm planning out some upgrades for the winter, so please post you input on both. Injectors/fuel rail would be chosen according to the manufacturer.

Here's what I know:
Nismo FPR range: 28.4 - 85.2 psi
Tomei FPR range: 29 - 87
About the same. The Tomei fuel rail is available for both Jecs and Denso injectors, and can be setup for dual feed. Though the standard rail can be drilled out to accept the larger Denso injectors. Nismo I don't beleive has a rail of thier own.1998 Stagea AutechVersion 260RS

Nismo doesn't have their own rail, their injectors are designed to fit the stock rail.
If you want to use Denso/Sard plugs then you will have to go with a Tomei rail, and use a Tomei FPR for best/easiest results.
Both Nismo and Tomei make similar FPR for stock line usage, either is good.
If you want to use the Tomei rail, you should use Tomei FPR #3 with Earls stainless lines. Thats the setup I have on my car at the moment.RightDrive Inc. Parts Manager

When you get your car back I'll have to poke and find out how our fueling system is going. To be honnest I don't even know much about your build. I don't remember seeing a thread?! So I guess you went with the dual feed into the rail and single center return from the rail correct? Are you running earls to the fuel tank? to a surge tank? or just to the splitter where the earls meets the OEM lines? Also, looking at a tomei diagram of their setup, I see they have the FPR on the return line and the gauge on the incoming line?
( I'm a noob at this fuel stuff atm lol). I'd like to see pictures if you don't mind
By the way did you decide for the brake pads? nismo S-tune ?No build thread.

The Earls just go to the OEM line to the tank. I'll send you pics when I get it back!
I will be going with the Nismo S Tune pads...on BCNR33 GTR Brembos and possibly Project Mu rotors.
That will probably go on the car by the end of the month. Then I will post a thread in the project car forum
My build is jsut basic bolts ons and the brakes. After that I will do the clutch and probably leave it at that with the exception of some suspension parts.RightDrive Inc. Parts Manager
