  • 18x9.5 + 12 GTR fitment

I'm looking at a set of wheels for my car in 18x9.5 +12 and I'm wondering about the fitment. The seller says they are GTR use, but I'm wondering if the offset will be too much.

Any suggestions or anyone have +12 on their GTR?

I just mounted 17x9.5 +19, and if the car were any lower, I'd need the fenders rolled at least! That's with a 255/40 tire. +12 seems like it would need over-fenders and what not...

      +12 is R33 R34 offset.
I've ran Advan RGs 18x9.5 +12 offset with no real issues... you'll get some rubbing in the front inner wheel well when you make sharp turns but it doesn't bother me... rolled fenders recommended!!!

This is the wheel and offset next on my list after a new transmission next month. If you run -3.5 degrees camber on the front you could actually go out a bit more. The rear is tight with no camber.
        These are harvey's lmgt4's 18 x 9.5 12 et

I have 18 x 9.5 22 et and they could easily come out 10 more mm.Go for it Daryl! What wheels are you looking at anyway?

argghh, what to do what to do....

it looks like it will be really close in the back then. the back is what concerns me the most.

The wheels are TE37 in black with a silver polished lip, they cost a fortune so I don't want to screw it up and get the wrong offset lol.

that is fairly aggressive but more then doable on any given day.

tires are more important then physical rim size.

You could always roll the rear fender a bit and stick with 255/35/18 tires.

This is what worries me, my rear wheels need to tuck because my car is much lower then that picture. I just hope that the negative camber will allow them to tuck. On my old Accord I had improper offset wheels, and they tucked with literally a paper thin buffer. Perhaps I'll try that again lol.

If the wheels weren't so expensive I'd do it for sure, but still thinking....10 hours left to decide....

Ok... My personal experience..... I never have any rubbing issues in the back. My rear fenders are unrolled. The fronts like GTR said.. has a lil of rubbing on the inner fenders when you turn the wheels at the extreme angles. Not really a big deal to me either. But when I hit a big bump (very rarely only on some bad toronto roads) the tires rub a lil on one my the fender liner bolt(I think it is the second on from the front). I would run a lil more camber to solve the problem since aluminum fenders are bitch to roll. Hope this helps. Btw, My tires are 265/35/18 A048s all around. Very meaty tires.

well.......I had to let them go.

In the end the price got pretty high for my budget, and I didn't want to get stuck with issues like my old Accord. They are beautiful wheel but hopefully I can find something else. If they were +22 they'd be mine, but the +12....some of those pics from GTR UK kinda turned me off. I don't want the beefy rear tire look, the rears on the GTR looked kinda like a truck. Also, if they even stick 1mm outside the fenders I won't be able to pass shakken in Dec.

Thanks for all the advice guys and I really appreciate everyones input. My enternal quest for the perfect wheels continues. This past week has been heartbreaking, I let a set of Nismos go and now these. But I will wait for something perfect.

These were them buy teh way, sold for 187,000 yen:
