  • N1 Headlight bulb sizes

I just bought N1's to replace my projectors. What are the bulb sizes? I'm sure the one is a h3. I want to get HID's for high and low beam and was also wondering if the high beam was a dual element bulb for high/park lights?

The main bulb is a high/low beam combo bulb, they are H4. Pretty common.

The inner bulbs closest to the grill are the fog lights, and it's an H3C, same as projector low beams. (Can't get away from these damn things)

The lil parking light inside is just a 194 "peanut bulb".

I know cause I have 'em

Also, I believe the projectors have an extra harness for them, that if you remove it, everything is all set for the N1 setup and you don't have to re-wire anything. Hopefully someone can confirm this part tho

You'll be very impressed with the light difference, you actually have headlights now..

As for HID's, most people DON'T recommend doing them with this headlight style as the glare is too bad. Most do HID's with the projectors. I myself have not even thought of them as the N1's are pretty good for for light.

    Hopefully this helps..

Yeah the Skyline headlight harness is the same for Projectors or non projectors.

If you get a kit with a cutoff built into the bulb then HID's are no problem.

The best i've seen so far is the MaxCar HID kit, it actually electronicly adjusts the cut off for high and low beam.

Keep your stock lights and retrofit a BMW/Acura projector.

HID's in N1's is ******** and pisses people off.

There's virtually no bulb cutoff, and you get blindingly bright HID lights in the eyes of other drivers.

              Just for clarification:

89-91 Projector low beams are H3C
91-94 Projector low beams are H1

Not a problem...I have a 1992 and I can tell you from experience the newer H1 projectors work WAY better than the older H3C's...especially with HID conversion kit.
