I am going to think he will want it for beating other people on the 1/4 mile and brags.

If you buy a Apexi ECU for a gtr i may have a controller for you.

ahh then invest in a set of sticky tyres instant quarter mile time gains... and nitrous. Its easy to get a GTR to go 12's, spend a lil and they'll got 11's. after that the costs just start increasing exponentially. replacement engines, a number of turbo's, nitrous and a lot of R&D and work still sees a few GTR owners down here clawing into high 9's.

Hey hey don`t knock it. The thing I like about my BMW 740i having 300HP is not how fast it goes or how quickly it can cover the 1/4. To me the best part about having that power is something I call the slingshot factor. When you really want to get in front of a slow moving vehicle (or even a fast one hehe) I love just stepping on it and going......going.......cya! And if you stay on it then point blimfark is just a couple more seconds away!

              will this make 500hp?
Sure you have the pieces to make 500 hp. Depends on fuel and computer.

I would not use a Japanese tuned computer on anything running on non Japanese fuel.

Cams are a good addition, but they are pretty complex to install. You dont need cam gears. Most people install the cams straight up, and never really do much to cam timing. I would say that out of 50 sets, maybe 1 set actually gets adjusted.

600 cc injectors - For 500 hp I like to use 720 cc injectors.

You dont need a headgasket. Changing it is not the easiest thing to do.

I have not read previous posts:
Upgraded turbos, don't waste your time/money on a big single. Response is key
If its a daily driver, keep the motor stock, you won't need the extra beef

                      Engine management (nistune, pfc, haltec)
                      Fuel pump/pressure reg, injectors
                      Dump pipes, exhaust
                      15-20 psi of boost
If you want to improve flow, manifolds, bigger front mount are key
                      Tune
                      End story
