  • GTR turbo coolant lines idiocy- question

Rather than pull the turbo coolant lines after the single conversion, my tuner just capped them with a rubber end cap . Notice the proximity to the downpipe ! Doesn't take a genius to figure out what happened next. A nice little spritz of coolant all over the exhaust !

I am assuming that the larger line is the supply and the little one is the return. Can I cap these at the block behind the intake ? Also , can I loop it as a temp fix ? I want to cut the lines behind the fitting and loop it as a temporary fix until I can find the time to do a more permanent job.

Thanks in advance for any info !

The small one is actually the vacuum line for the stock waste gates.

Thanks brendan !! That would have been interesting

I figured that the big one was coolant as it was the one that was leaking ( but thanks anyway , McFly! ) I'm going to go ahead and plug it where it comes out of the block.
