5% trim was all that was needed. Maybe it was map sensor location differences

Sorry to derail a thread, but the FC D- jetro is what I'll be runnng soon. So, where is the best location for the map sensor?

Back on topic for a sec.. RHD Japan says the lag is 0.65. Is that what you guys are running as well for SARD 700CC or is the lag supposed to be something else?

            Thanks a lot guys

Thanks for all the input guys, he problem seems to be solved. From rhdjapan's website and sard's own website, the lag time was supposed to be 0.65ms. But according to paulr33's powerfc faq (http://paulr33.skylinesaustralia.com...inj_top-en.htm) it says the Sard 700's lag time is 0.96ms. Corrected it to +0.18ms (from -0.12ms), at the same time changed the injectors to 63% (440/700 per paulr33's page listed above) and now the car seems to be working quite well. The car idles perfectly now, doesn't hesitate when you blip the throttle from idle, and seems a lot more powerful than before (running -0.12ms and 80%) with max knock of 23 doing a few 6500rpm pulls on the base pfc d-jetro map.

So moral of the story...you can't even trust the manufacturer's own website for information...use paulr33's info. I'm joking...only partly.

I'll let you know in a few days with more seat time. Thanks again for your help!

Mods aren't pretty standard gtr mods, 2860-5's, ported manifolds, downpipe, exhaust, intakes, wideband, avcr, the aforementioned 700cc injectors, pfc, nismo fuel pump

I have access to datalogit, and I was using it to tune before, but I haven't done any logging since I installed the injectors

hey ... im having the same problem... just to let u know i talked to sard today and they told me they had a lag time of 0.65ms... greddy is calling me tomorrow to let me know wat the lag time of their 720cc injectors are ... i suspect they are the same since denso supplies both companies... but the greddy tech told me he would suspect i could start up my car because the 660cc are 0.55ms

You gotta try the lagtime first. Assume lag time of .96. See if that solves the problem.

after further speaking with greddy ... he told me that that might be at 18v while 0.96ms would be at 12v. im definately going thru the same problem right now and a couple of coolant leaks... hoping i dont have to pull turbos again
