I listen to what they listen to in Japan. After having been there more then a few times, and been in more then a few nice cars....
I know for a fact they listen to (are you ready for this) alot of...
JAZZ
You want nice music, mixed in with a bit of JDM goodness, and still cool enough to beat your heart? Try:
Nujabes
DJ Krush
Bonobo
But...
If you want some heavy Japanese techno style stuff, there's only one name, and his name is Yuzo Koshiro. If anyone gets the chance, check out "Blue Blazes" by him, and you'll be amazed.
Good songs:
Yuzo Koshiro - Blue Blazes
Nujabes - Imaginary Folklore
Nujabes - With Rainy Eyes
Nujabes - Tsurugi no mai
Nujabes - World without Words
Nujabes - Silver Morning
Nujabes - Shiki no Uta
Nujabes - Counting Stars
Nujabes - Moon Strut
Nujabes - Peaceland
Nujabes - Kujaku
Nujabes - Luv Sic Pt.3 Ft. Shing02
Nujabes - Reflection Eternal
Nujabes - Sea of Cloud
Nujabes - (Samurai Champloo) Sincerely
Nujabes - Aruarian Dance
Nujabes - Kumomi
Nujabes - Letter from Yokosuka
Nujabes - Luv Sic Pt.2 Instrumental
DJ Krush - Days End
DJ Krush - Univearth
DJ Krush - Slit of Cloud (More of a Yakuza style song)
DJ Krush - Duality (2006 Mix)
Bonobo - The Plug
Bonobo - Change Down
And here's some samples of the music I'm talking about:

After putting this much effort into a post, I hope someone takes the time out to try out my suggestions.

repeat of my thread...that I cant find anymore. so enjoy here!
Anything tragically hip, blink 182 or some Chicago.
Greatest song imo, 'is Escape is at hand for the travellin' man' off the hip's phantom power. that song is unbelievably calming, and when listened to while driving in the evening or in rural farm areas, gives off a sense of carelessness and a worry-free moment. its very deep, yes. i know..i know.
Listen to it...im sure some of you will like itVictory is on the horizon..
