i'm running a power-fc d-jetro with the APEXI boost controler and i'm geting boost cut ...

the car is tuned for 12psi . since 2 days the car can reach 16psi and a soon as it reaching 16 psi * boost cut* !!!

i have check the wastegate vacum line all the way to my intake manifold looking good ... could it be my boost controler ?

any tips on what to look for !?!?!?!

thanks for your help guys and sorry if my english is not the best !!!

I'm a noob so I'll ask. What's your boost controller set at? Maybe you're over boosting? I don't know...

Neither the stock ECU or a PFC has boost cut
Are you maxing out the injectors or map sensors?

injectors are sard 800cc ... my MAP are the one that came with the D-jetro !!!

the car was running fine at 12psi with no boost cut !!! but in a night it went from 12psi to 16 psi ... as soon as it it 16 the ecu cut !!!

I say 16 cause the peak boost on my defi gauge is 16 psi !?!?!

        ----------------------------------------

for the boost set-up it was tune (.70 / 32)

i tried lowering it but it still over boost to 16 !!!

Stock ECU has a boost cut, but it's called "Theoretical Pulsewidth (load) limit", not boost cut. Just turn the settings to max on above table to eliminate the boost cut.

PowerFC probably has something similar since it's based off a stock ECU, but haven't seen it.

That's not boost cut, that's injector safety buffer
The stock ecu in no way controls boost

i by-passed the boost controler and i have 10 psi steady !!! i think the trouble is with the boost controler it self !!!

is there a way to check it

Talk to Ztune, as it seems they have had trouble with single boost control solenoids over a certain boost level. I think they recommend a dual solenoid boost controller from Blitz or HKS.

From what I understand it's what people refer to as a boost cut on stock ECU, but it's not a boost cut, it's a fuel cut. As far as I know it kicks in when MAF (load) maxes out due to extra airflow from turbo sucking in more air when overboost happens. Some report that it kicks in on a cold night.

I was just saying the table you adjust to get rid of this fuel cut / boost cut is the "Theoretical Pulsewidth (load) limit". It's not exactly called "boost cut" as a name for the table.

As far as I know the R32, R33, R34 GTR stock ECU's control boost level. R32 GTS ECU doesn't control boost level but R33, R34 GTS ECU's control boost level. Any ECU that has a boost control solenoid should control boost level via 2x boost duty maps (main, knock) on ECU.
