Hello...so i have a very small pinhole on the neck of the rad right where it meets the top of the rad...is there a cheap fix on this? any specific epoxy? patch it? seal?
You can get it welded. Any aluminum welder can do it. Look for a rad shop in your area they can definately do the best job. You can try high-temp epoxy it would probably work, but best beat is welding.
Ok, I know exactly what your talking about. I'm not sure. You can try epoxy, if it's a pinhole it'll probably hold, but it's pretty high pressure and temperature is pretty hot also. I'm shotting an idea here but maybe you can put a small piece of fiberglass sheet and cover it with epoxy resin.
When my oem rad blew the end tank in multiple spots, it was cheaper to buy a $300 koyo copper rad for me then risk it happening again. I'd forget about the plastic rad.
