  • vacuum leak or wg problem?

My car has been doing this ever since i got it, so i havent experience the full power of the rb26 yet hopefully someone on here knows whats wrong. When the camera starts jerking thats the car doing that, like it has a rev limiter or something.

Sounds like weak coils but it says you've got yellow jackets. Are you holding boost?

yes it will hold but only goes upto 7psi

I saw the the vid ,hum it not boost leak cause u would not even go past 1psi or 2 at the most and 3000rpm . Plus your plugs would be really black like running rich like a mofo....not fun....Whats the deal with your maf they look like they ve been open or something .....not reading right....check voltage u need 2 have the same for both....good luck

You should hook up an Wideband O2 AFR gauge to your exhaust...gives you a good idea of whats going on fuel wise.
Also on an unrelated matter, I know the GTR level sensors are pessimistic...but I don't like playing around a whole lot when it reads that low on fuel.

i dont like to play with it when its that low either but theres atleast 30km of fuel there so a 2 km drive is ok. I opened the mafs and resoldered them, im leaning towards maf too though since the car has a ****** idle, and the car wont rev over 3000 in 5th.I'm waiting for my usb>serial cable to come so i can hook my netbook up and do some datalogging

I'm just shooting you an ideas, check if the ecu has any codes. If code is good, then check MAFs, if MAFs good then do a leak down test. Also your BOV might be leaking, remove it for now and put something to block the passage. Its not bad to run without a BOV, stock turbos might have issues if you do it for a prolonged period, one time won't do anything. Check coil packs. Might be a fueling issue, check that with a wideband. Might also be the O2 sensor. Check compression on your cylinders, is there oil in the coolant or coolant in oil?

There's a safety revlimiter (fuelcut) at around 5100rpm when speedo reads Okm/h. I think faulty knock sensors is the other cause of that 5100rpm safety revlimiter kicking in. Looks like stock ECU is doing it's job, as it's protecting engine.

When engine hits 5100rpm, it starts to break down.

It can miss like that at higher rpms, boost levels with wider sparkplug gap. Should be around 0.8mm gap with NGK PFR7A sparkplug. Stock is 1.1.mm and a NGK PFR6A spark plug.

Need that software, cable to check sensor voltages, etc. It should be obvious when you test / check voltages.

Probably can rule out TPS, o2 sensor, as the settings work for those sensors at lower rpm's. My guess is CAS, MAF, fuelpump voltage regulator problem, airleak, sparkplug gap.
