  • Head and block RA specs, question

I am building my engine very soon and my block is brand new with a good RA spec i believe RA 50. The head i built is from my original engine and it looks to be not prepped as smooth. Head is all most ready to be installed, should i send it back to machine shop to have it milled to a finer RA spec or could i just use the Permtex Copper Spray to compensate for the head surface?

also if both sides are prepped to proper RA 50 specs, should i still use the permtex copper spray or will it interfere with a good seal from properly specs surfaces.
