  • R32 GT-R ECU Performance Chip

I was look at these ECU performance chips on eBay and was wondering if they really work... I don't like to by stuff of eBay unless it's brand name stuff but I noticed a lot of people buying these ECU performance chips as they claim to give around 11.4 more HP and 7.4 TQ. Just wanted to know if these chips are actually good or just a bunch of eBay BS... Thanks in advance for your help!

Here is the eBay link for reference: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nissa...item41448b418a

If tuned on a dyno for your cars engine, then burnt to a chip, yes a chip is ok and can extract up to 40awhp (aggressive ECU tune) with RB26 and 38rwhp with RB25, 30rwhp with RB20. If not tuned on dyno to suit your cars engine, avoid those chips.

Nistune for stock ECU should allow you to reflash stock ECU tune anytime you want or need to.

Talk to Ztune, or look at Ztune's Nistune Group buy thread -

I would stay away from chips unless like they say....u get it tuned to ur car. i would look into an apexi powerfc or aem ems both nice standalone ecu's so u dont have to screw up ur stock one

This is a R32GTR in Australia with fully built engine and 457rwhp + Nistune + conservative ECU tune -

Nistune for stock ECU is more than enough for most applications. If going above 640hp at engine or running big twin turbo setup or big single turbo setup with aggressive cams, I would fit a aftermarket ECU + MAP sensor.
