Question is, tomei are reinforced so I would guess they need more torque to set up right. No build thread.

the strength of the stud material does not mean the torque settings will be different. No matter what the material of the studs , the torque settings are essentially the pressure the nut bears down with on the cap.
The whole point of the stud kit is that the part thats threaded into the head is longer than the original bolt thus making more use of the existing thread in the head for security. To install the studs correctly do them finger tight in the head to avoid binding the head threads . Then torque the nuts down to factory spec .
Increasing torque over the original spec could actually distort the cam caps (made of aluminum) so i'd stick to the numbers in the service manual ( .92-1.2 Kg-m).

Yeah all good.
I ended up having to buy a second set (yay for Fkups) because 9 pounds (with lube) snapped 1 stud clean. Second set was installed at 7 pounds with lube.Black 1991 GTR. Serious garage stand mantle/parts car.
