OK guys, since the past month, I did a couple of things on my GTR. I ask my friend who is a Hewitt mechanic but own a GTR so he's fine with the rb26.
So, I was going to my exhaust appointment to have my bung weld so I can get on the dyno and fix the leak. After 10 minutes on the highway crusing at 120kmh, my cat light turn on.then turn off. but 15 seconds later, I heard a backfire and ZUUUMMM my idle goes to 1000 rpm. no acceleration.Nothing. I found a spot to stop and wait for the towing. So, I get to my exhaust shop on the towing and get my leak fixed. We tried to fire the car but it just won't fire. it will crank but not fire.
What do you guys think? I thought it was my ALT belt because it made a crappy sound 2 days ago but my mechanic said he just tight it up a bit and it was fine. So, I'm thinking it could be my denso fuel pump.. no fuel, no fire.
FOUND IT. THE SHAFT ON THE CAS BROKE IN HALF!! so the shaft was spinning freely without connection to the cas.
