  • burning oil...

    hey guys my car used to burn oil when i boosted... so i put new turbos in well used ones from charles ( C-Unit) so i know forsure the turbos are good... cuz the rear turbos oil seal went... but i just finished puttin in the other turbos and she puffs blue lot still... no when shes idleing but when i give it a bit of gas.. any ideas would be awsome thanks

    Got an oil catch can? You could be vacuuming a bit of the block's oil.

      Oooor the time to become a real GTR owner, to see if you can afford one, has come and you need a rebuild. Check out your compression!!

        no i dont have an oil catch can.. but im doing a compression test this week... and if the compression sucks out comes the motor lol

            Well, atleast you figured out you can afford a proper rebuild, without going broke or skipping bills, if it's the case.

              yeah, compression test or take off one of intercooler pipipings to see how oily it is.

                it may be just your turbo. if the rear seal on the turbo is cracked you can get some oil seeping thru resulting in the car burning oii. I f the compression test comes back normal then i would examine replacing the trubos... UPGRADE TIME!
