  • Engine won't fire, NEED HELP

So i just installed my engine after overhauling it and hooked up all the plumbing and wiring. I went to turn it over and it won't fire. I checked the cylinders and they are dry of fuel, checked the fuel line and it sprays alot of fuel. I dropped some fuel down the #1 cylinder and turned it over to see if there is spark and no detenation?? I swapped the two grey 3prong sensor wires at the back of the injector harness and still nothing. For some reason the injectors and ignition are not running, i don't know if it is a faulty throttle sensor or a ground. There is a small ground wire on turbo side that i didn't remember where it went. The battery is fine and has charge. When i turn the engine over, there are alot of lights on in the dash, Oil pressure, exhaust temp, 4WD, ABS. Any advise on what i should try would really help.

first you most check if the fuel pump primes.
If there is no signal from the fuel pump the cas will not send any signal to the coil packs and injectors.
If your fuel pump is priming then you should look into grounds.Could be the ignitor ground etc....

    Many things can cause this.
Give us more info on what motor?make? year?etc....

So i did some messing around and still nothing? The starter turns over, the coilpacks have spark, the fuel rail has fuel and the grounds all seem fine. I checked the ECU for any codes and i got a code 55 which means No Malfunction. I unplugged the Throttle Position Sensor and got a code 43 which was the correct code. I plugged the TPS back in and unplugged the Intake air tenp sensor and got a code 41 , which was also correct. I plugged the intake air temp sensor back in and unplugged the Crank Angle Sensor and got the same code 55 again?? I am thinking the Crank angle sensor is code 55 since everything else i unplugged showed up as a code. I don't think the AAC valve or knock sensors are faulty or else i would of got a code.
Has anybody had this kind of injector problem or know anybody with a GTR that has had , and how to fix it?

-Check to insure you have the fuel feed and return lines in the correct position.
-Try a different CAS cam angle sensor.

Hard help without physically being there, hope this helps.

I tried swapping the fuel feed lines and injectors are still not squirting? I guess i am going to try and find a CAS .

easy test is take CAS out without taking harness and turn the ignition ON then turn CAS if it's working you should hear clicking noise from injectors and fuel pump prime. obviously after this test you will have to set the ignition timing(or you can just mark on CAS and it's housing before you taking CAS)
              good luck

I solved the the big headache, for some reason my intake cam gear was off about 90deg. at tdc. Realligned timing and assembled and she fired
