  • Turbo oil and coolant lines - OEM to 2860-5

looking for ideas on using the stock oil and coolant lines on my turbo swap. The bracket that holds the oil supply and coolant supply? does not quite fit on the 2860's like it does on the old turbos....

let me know... should I ditch them and go braided ss?

That's what I did but I never checked to see if the bracket would work. Make sure you use oil restrictors if doing ss line.

I reused all the same lines with said turbos, no problems. Just need to weld in the banjo bolts and drill it out with a smaller hole. No need to spend $200 on stainless lines then.

The oem lines worked well with all new copper washers and the restictor in the banjo fitting...

I used aftermarket dumps and had to make a small mod on the rear air into compressor fitting hitting the front dump pipe. Cut and weld.

The engine is finally in the car... see picctures...
