  • Should I resurface my flywheel? & HICAS ball joints

So I had to replace my transmission in my GTR and the one I put in was 10x worse than the one I took out and I put in a clutch and lightweight flywheel at the same time. Long story short I drove my car under 4000kms on that tranny and clutch (clutch was a pos) and I was wondering if I should resurface my flywheel? and if so do I need to replace the flywheel bolts or just torque them down again? I know the new flywheel came with new bolts

    Thanks
    Nathyne

Also does is nissan the only place to get HICAS ball joints? does a 240 with hicas use the same ones?

Hard to tell you what to do without knowing what clutch your going to use.

If you buy a new clutch, re surface the flywheel.

As for the rear outer ball joints. You need to buy them from Nissan. Ive called a few times to a few places and there is no aftermarket support for that item. But I didnt look too hard. I like to use nissan parts anyways and that specific part is always in stock. Same as 240sx/300zx. like $70 or something in that area.
