  • gtr needs big time help

gtr is not starting apparently accord to the shop its at its flooding with fuel instantly and wont start. they want to put a new ecu in and try that to see if it will start. does this sound like the right thing to do?

Fuel regulator may be effed, injectors may be glued open but thats rare-ish. ECU map shouldn't affect it to that extent.

Been there, done that. Fouled plugs was the issue for me, often. I'm not saying they don't know what their doing as I'm sure they've checked that.

Replacing parts is easier and more profitable for a shop than pulling codes (in the short run)

Sounds like you may have blown off an intercooler pipe, judging by the way you described how it happened. Have you checked all your piping?

so changed ecu, checked all piping and hoses, changed spark plugs, played with timing , still wont start.

was check spark lastnight and it was a very dim thin orangish red spark.... dont know if that is the issue. alo the fuel pressure was 90 psi at the pressure regulator
