  • nismoparts.com????? r34 n1 crank?

Hey i am just looking at http://www.nismoparts.com/catalog/?section=570#1783 and i noticed the advertised "r34 n1 crank" is the exact same oem part number as a r33 crank. just wondering if anybody has ordered anything off this site and if they are legitimate or not? their prices seem very reasonable so just trying to cover my bases before throwing some money at them. thanks for any help

R33 & R34 crankshafts are exactly the same.

As for Nismoparts.com I am not sure, try searching people have used them in the past

If it's cheaper at Nismo parts, do it. If it fails, by another. Win!!

Oh ya, don't be fooled. No such thing as an N1 crank. R32, R33, R34 and aftermarket, no N1.

yea i know. i guess r34 n1 is just a better way to advertise a r33 crank since they are all the same

good to know! So, basicly, a R33 used crank is as good as a R34 one and would resolve the crank problem ?

yes the only crank problem was with the r32. with a r33 or 34 crank no more oiling problems imo well worth the 750 bucks for the crank

Isn't there still clearance issues with a stock R33/R34 crank though? I though the ultimate fix was to get a collar made with precise clearance, or buy one from that AUS guy?

The crank was fixed in late R32 models (forget the specific month, but built after Feb or March 1992). Only the cranks build before that should need collars.
