Yes (sry ment to include that).
Yeah you'll need To cut the sealant (don't unscrew the screws) on the flat top side and take the cover off. Once inside, you can resolder the connections.
If you have a Nissan dealership near by, see if you can pick up some throttle body cleaner, otherwise, I was told contact cleaner from crappy tire does the trick too.Attached FilesLast edited by Spencer87; 05-01-2011, 06:15 PM.93 R33 GTST - DD

I was having hesitation problems for the past couple of weeks. It was starting to get really bad, stalling at lights. I got MAF cleaner from canadian tire, sprayed down the MAFs and problem solved (still very slight hesitation at 2000 rpm, maf probably wasn't cleaned well enough). The run-off from the spray was turning brown lol.

I was on my phone early, I was going to edit my post but I didn't want it to get missed.
I had no experience soldering prior to doing this, this was also this first thing I've done by myself so hopefully this information helps you as it helped me.
Pretty much it goes like this, use an exacto knife to cut and remove the sealant around the flat top. Dont press too hard when cutting between the flat top and the side but use your judgement. Once you remove the sealant, you can gently pry the cover up. I used two butterknifes but you just need to gently press the sides in so that you can slide it up (the cover jets out at the bottom so when its pressed down, it goes under the edge to hold it in). Extra hands can help - but I hear these are often brittle so be careful. I didn't crack mine so just take your time and I'm sure be fine.
Once inside, you see a shiny copper plate. Above it you'll see connections. I added a little metal stuff (you can see the level of knowledge I have about soldering) to make sure connections were perfect but mainly reheated them.
If you already knew this, great, if not, someone else can enjoy.
Let us know how it goes.Last edited by Spencer87; 05-01-2011, 06:24 PM.93 R33 GTST - DD

On one separate note on this topic, a couple mechanics recommend Brake cleaner as it has no left over residue. If anyone can verify this with and possibly add a why or why not, I want to redo mine when I clean my intake filter.93 R33 GTST - DD
