I ended up buying a complete gasket set and want to know do I need an aftermarket headgasket? I have searched and found some info but want to be 100% sure because it's all going back together this week.

Does anyone know the stock bore size on an oem headgasket? I read that it's 87mm and do not have a big enough vernier caliper to measure myself. -

when you rebuild your car you dont want the head gasket to be the exact same size as the piston or your going to have trouble when the piston cant travel past the head gasket ive herd anything up to 1 mm is fine due to the champher at the start of the block to help the pistons be installedComment
