  • over fueling, no boost and boggin out after 3000k

after puting my suction kit together and running my GTR, i extended my maf wires (yes sodered) to make it all fit under the hood, and noticed it not boosting. This happening after it was ripping hard all half day.. kinda wierd. i ripped it apart, tightend boost pipes went over silicone hoses i changed.. nothing. my bovs are not open ive checked.. dont wanna rip down to find out if i blew a turb quite yet.. i was soo close it was so apart now its in the driveway with me pondering my next direction..

    any advise always appreciated.

Nothing is restricting the inlet? Will it rev passed 3000rpm? If not a maf has failed and your running in limp mode.

Double check all your turbo and IC piping, make sure clamps are secure. If your turbo is blown there will most likely be lots of oil in the piping. Old OE turbos won't take much abuse.

Same thing happened to me. Check you vacuum lines. One of them may have popped off. If you heard a loud hiss when boosting then a sudden boost drop, its a vacuum line. hope this helps.

Yes it will rev past 3000k. when idling and reving it drops rpms way down almost.. and sometime bogging the motor out. i took off the bumper checked all boost and IC lines, adjusted them and tighten em'.. and then double checked them. No Power FC on my car im running a stock ecu and r34 steel wheel turbos, so then can easily manage the 13 psi they're getting.. no weird hiss while boosting... because it wont spool up it only hits the 0 mark on the stock gauge. ive sodered my maf extentions.. but that still could be a problem. maybe an effed waste gate, or the stock boost solenoid is all effed up.. am i thinking to big could it be something easy?

            Check your turbos. Damaged perhaps?
