  • Could this be my vacuum leak?

Hey guys, I appreciate all the help you have given me and am wondering if you guys can tolerate another question?

Could this be the cause of my vacuum leak?

I haven't traced this tube but it is split in three, and has a screw shoved in the one end. I'm not sure where this tube would go to/from in a stock GTR, and why it is the way it is now.

Is it a vacuum line? What in the heck do I do with these?

I'm guessing there was a boost controller there or a boost gauge. Hard to tell with out tracing the line back.

that appears to be the vacuum going to the charcoal canister. do you still have the charcoal canister?

Looks like a vacuum line that someone has T'd into. May be the source of your vacuum leak, these cars are 20years old, leaks develop from anywhere and everywhere. Also testing an engines vacuum is a way to test the shape the engine is in, although not the only way. I've seen people mistake what they believe to be a leak for what is actually a weak engine. Not that i'm trying to scare you or anything lol.

That could also be for your charcoal canister if that was removed. Not sure why there would be a T in there but strange things happen.
