plastic trim around stereo removal

I'm trying to remove my old stereo and I'm having a hard time getting the plastic trim off that goes around the gauges, stereo and shifter, but when i go to pull it off it feels like it will break on the curves (where it goes from vertical to horizontal) i removed the 2 screws behind the ashtray , does anyone know if it is ok to keep pulling or are there any hidden screws

remove the shifter boot, there are 2 more screws underneath

For future use I would suggest downloading the service manual. It has everything you need to know about assembly/disassembly.

This trim removal specifically is on page BF-53.

my advie is becarfull removing this mines craked a little and thats makes it easier but it was caused by previous owner taking it off i dont know if that matter to you though
