switched 12v power

hey guys about to install fuel and oil pressure gauges. which wires did u guys use for the 12v switched pwr?

Easiest way is to get a probe and just probes the wires that get power in the desired state (switch to on, access, etc).

I think the cig lighter only works when the key is turned? It's been a while since I've done the wiring on mine.
