  • Turbo return coolant line issue?

I bought an engine without the turbo's and lines. I bought a set of oem rb26 turbos and a set of coolant lines off another member. Some of the coolant and oil lines I had and some that I bought were bent and not usable.

Anyway I don't have either coolant return hard pipe or fittings from each turbo to the big T between each turbo for the coolant. I have a repair manual but it doesn't give me any size of fittings or a decent pic. So what is suppost to be in the coolant return from the turbos?

It looks like a 14x1.5 fitting into the turbo, then into a 16x1.5 fitting attached to a 10mm hard pipe then goes into the big T, same for the rear turbo. Is this correct? Does anyone have a good pic of what I'm suppost to have. I have the rear coolant return hard pipe but it does not thread into the turbo because the fitting is to big. Is there a reducer like a 16 to a 14x1.5?

Unfortunatly I don't have any info that can help you however there are quite a few detailed pics around if you dig online. Also there are very good exploded pics on www.nissan4u.com
If that doesn't come up do a google search and you'll find it. It's sometimes hard to find for some reason.
    Good luck!

Perfect! That link took me someplace else but google found it. It is a reducer that I needed. I called Nissan with the parts numbers but they said it doesn't work, then he asked for my vin and of coarse that doesn't work either. Anyway now the fun begins searching around for fittings.

For the fun of it try Nissan in Halifax. I've ordered parts from them using that site and part #'s. They'll want you to pay up front for special orders but the parts guys are good there.
