  • r32/33 weight distribution?

Just curious if anyone has put a r32/33 gtr on a scale and got the weight distribution figures. I looked everywhere and couldn't find anything about this subject

I know that the weight distribution would be pretty front heavy but does anyone have some numbers as reference?

I'm gunna first say daaaaamn I need some paint heheh but this winter is for that.

Here's the rear. Weighed in at 670kg (1477.09 lbs)

And the front weighed in at 870kg (1918.02lbs)

          670kg+870kg=1540kg(3395.12lbs)

          Rear 670/1540kg = .435 = 44%
          Front 870/1540kg = .564 = 56%

          Pretty decent actually

Stock figures from an old Best Motoring video say BNR32 is 850kg front and 580kg rear.
              850kg + 580kg = 1430kg for the zenki BNR32

zenki would be BNR32 models from Aug 1989 to Aug 1991.
BNR32 models after Aug 1991 had side impact beams added to the doors, which weighed an extra 50kg or so.

TKrop did you weigh the entire car on the scale to get the total weight? If you are just adding this may be the reason for the weight discrepancy as split-weighing (front wheels then rear wheels) often doesnt add up to the proper weight. As a result, the federal weights and measures act doesnt allow split-weights to be used for tender purposes.

That being said I agree that this is a good way to estimate front to rear weight distribution, I just wouldnt trust the total overall weight figure to be 100% accurate.

I did weigh the full car, no picks (someone was waiting behind me) and It did come out to 3400lbs or really close. plus that's what they say the weight of our vehicles should be.
