  • Bosch 044 inline fuel pump. Install help plz

    Hi guys,
I need some help installing my bosch 044 inline fuel pump.
I got 880cc injectors and power fc ecu. The car leans like a b*tch with the stock fuel pump. So i bought a external bosch fuel pump which handles up to 700hp.
I need help installing tho. I never installed fuel pump in my life lol
So if any of u guys have done it before plz let me know how can i install this fuel pump.

    Thnx!!!!

I installed my Bosche 044 in tank. Just replaced the OEM and rigged the mount to work with the new pump. It's been running like a champ for 5 years. No leaning out at 525 AWHP.

I did my Bosch pump in tank on my r33
It's plenty for a single pump good to atleast 600hp
Run that in tank and if need be an external and surge tank

          Forgot to add
You need an adaptor sock for the in tank pump to work. It's pretty cheap too

              Just the sock
And wire it straight to the battery for maximum power

This is a vid of my fuel pump sucking ass during a pull
That was with the Bosch 044, pressure dropped from 60 to 40 psi in like 3k rpm. As soon as he wired it straight to the pump the difference was night and day. The oem wiring from the factory was shot apparently. Retuned with the new fuel pump went from 473rwhp to 492 rwhp
And when the car is running, the fuel pump is loud. And when the ignition turns houngan hear the lines prime. Sounds like a transformer lol. Good pump tho. Can't wait to add an in line one day

putting it intank seems to be alot of work cuz i need to modify the cradle. i asked few people and they told me just have it external. so all i need is the instruction how to get the external fuel pump work. do i have to mount it under the car or in the trunk? where do i get the fuel line for it?

less work, noise, heat and cleaner install with intank pump.

external... just find the fuel line. trace it to a spot you feel good with and that has room. make sure there is no pressure in the line! cut and install pump. install wire from pump to relay. relay to fuse to battery. relay to factory fuel pump relay input. and pump to ground. you'll need to make or buy some mounting brackets.

gtrjon just installed an A1000 inline pump. search for A1000. some good info was posted.
