  • dead cluster, well sort of.

Key on I have no interior power, cluster/windows/blower/gauges/boost controler/nothing has power. Start the car and while checking some other things under the hood i told my friend to get in it and give it some gas and bam, interior power comes on and everything works. Rpm was reading about 2000-3000 when everything came on. So I tell him to shut the car off and turn the key to on. Everything is dead again, start her up and rev to 2/3k and everything comes on.

Just curious to see if anyone ever had this type of problem or heard of something like this happening. Fuses are all good. Checked my connections, all in and tight, wiggle the wires around with key ON and engine off, nothing works. So I'm all of ideas at this point.

Sounds like a battery issue to me also. Were you having difficulties cranking it?

No issues starting it. I get all my interior power back once the engine revs past 2k.

There are 4 relays under the dash, do any of those control interior accessories?

I'm having the exact same problem, started yesterday and just like in your case, nothing will work until you rev the engine a little (I feel like a loser doing this in public) very interested in finding a solution

I've resolved all my problems! Now I'm not an electrician by any means, but to the best of my knowledge this is what I did...while I was having all the same issues as you were having, whenever I would turn my headlights on, my hicas light would flick on and off every half second. And only when I turned my headlights on which made me lose power steering every half second (very annoying around corners) so today I was checking all my connections for my headlight bulbs (I have hids) I unplugged the first one and to my surprise when I pulled them apart the side leading to the batteries wire snapped right in half. The wire was totally fried. So my best guess is that whenever I would turn the headlights on it was shorting out/ f-ing all of my electronics. So i soldered the wires back together, go to start the car, and viola! All my gauges start right up, windows locks, headlights, and dash lights. I'm very confused by this but so happy at the same time. Hope yours is as easy of fix as mine! Best of luck and keep us posted

                  Cheers, Chase

Fixed my problem as well. I had a black connector in the engine bay leading to the positive battery terminal. Connector must of been loose and came out while I went for a drive. Put it back in and everything works now.

Glad to hear everything's fine now, there's so many different variables that could result in this problem. Thank god ours were easy fixes.

                      Cheers
